Turkey Lettuce Boats

Gluten free / Dairy Free / Low FODMAP

Serves 3-4


  • 1Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 Red onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1tsp ginger
  • 500g lean turkey mince
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 2Tbsp tamari
  • 1tsp sesame oil
  • 1tsp fish oil (optional)
  • 2tsp white wine vinegar
  • salt & pepper

Serving suggestions

  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Feta cheese
  • Avocado


  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan on a medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic & ginger and fry until soft.
  3. Add the turkey and cook until lightly browned.
  4. Pour over the Tamari, oils and vinegar and stir until combined.
  5. Add the pepper and cook until everything is combined and cooked through.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve in the lettuce leave.
