Workplace wellness is now essential, not an indulgence.

Thanks to modern life’s hectic pace employees are under more pressure than ever before, with 44% of employees reporting feelings of burnout at work (Gallup, 2018). These employees are more likely to take sick days, seek new employment and have lower confidence and productivity rates. The increase in sedentary roles has also contributed to the alarming fact that 1 in 4 people in the UK are now considered overweight or obese (NHS, 2018). Balance by Hayley corporate wellness workshops and clinics have been designed to help improve the health and wellbeing of your employees, leading to a healthier, happier and more productive workforce. I offer a range of services that cater to the employee and business’ needs.

Mini individual clinics

Mini workplace clinics allow employees to book in for a 15-20 minute 1:1 consultation, to discuss any nutritional queries or health concerns they may have and together we can come up with a dietary plan based on the individual’s circumstances.

Wellness Workshops

These interactive workshops focus on empowering and engaging with employees to take control and responsibility for their health and wellbeing and arm them with the knowledge of what to eat to feel better.

Wellness workshops can be tailored to your needs with the most popular ones including:

General nutritional advice - How to build meals, what foods to eat when, maintaining a healthy diet and nutrition myth busting.

Weight management - Strategies to manage diet & lifestyle to achieve a healthy weight, with easy workouts to take home.

Fitness & Nutrition – Learning easy workouts which can fit in to everyone’s schedule, how to meal plan and fuel your workouts along with the benefits of exercise.

Digestion – How to improve digestion to alleviate symptoms such as constipation, IBS or diarrhoea.

Food & Mood – The role diet and specific foods can play in mental health issues such as anxiety, stress and depression, including how our mood can in turn affect our food choices.

Supercharge your skin – What foods to include in your diet to achieve that outer glow.

Recommended presentation time is 60 – 90 minutes.

Workplace Fitness Classes

Balance by Hayley offer bespoke fitness classes that are both fun and effective. These can include high energy classes, resistance or low impact classes dependent on the employees and business needs. From ongoing weekly classes to specially tailored one-off events run in your office. These classes are ideal to reverse the effects of a largely sedentary workforce, enabling employees to become fitter and helping to release endorphins and stress-bust.
